Monthly Visualisers Gathering
– c-base Raumstation, Rungestrasse 20, (2nd backyard), Berlin
Hello visionaries! On this event page we can collect ideas. Usually we meet without a precise plan, and spontaneous presentations are welcome, but someone may want to prepare in advance. Presentations do not need to be structured or organised in slides. Improvising is the only way to communicate things that we do not find written anywhere, the craftsmanship of the work. Several disciplines are involved in data visualisation, and the interesting topics can be very diverse, for example: • Technologies you want to introduce to the others • Finished or ongoing projects • Design ideas, principles, or methodologies • Public datasets or a current topic which is worth some hacking • Work done by others that you want to share or discuss • Requests for help or feedback about your own visualisation project Also companies and professionals who want to introduce their work are welcome, especially if they provide some free code that can be reused by others. Since "a picture is worth a thousand words", and since the idea of the meetup is to be very practical and hands-on, you are encouraged to bring your tools, being them digital or analog (paper & markers)! See you there!
