Visualisers Stammtisch
– c-base Raumstation, Rungestrasse 20, (2nd backyard), Berlin
A Stammtisch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stammtisch) (German for "regulars' table", [ˈʃtamtɪʃ] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA_for_German)) is an informal group meeting held on a regular basis. (...) A Stammtisch is not a structured meeting, but rather a friendly get-together Hello visionaries! Our monthly Stammtisch is an opportunity to meet professionals and amateurs in the field of data visualisation, talk about our projects, ideas or problems and get feedback and inspiration! Data visualisation is an highly interdisciplinary field involving very different disciplines like interaction design, data science, programming, visual design, data journalism and many others. This is why we are all beginners in some sense, and we can get unique insights from each other. Since "a picture is worth a thousand words", and since the idea of the meetup is to be very practical and hands-on, you are encouraged to bring your tools, being them digital or analog (paper & markers). See you there!
